Traditionally the blue Cat 5 cabling used to carry the highest quality video. However with recent advances in technology the Coax cable can now a 5 Megapixel image. Currently most Cat 5 CCTV systems carry a 4 megapixel image. Therefore the difference is not that great so we recommend you should stick with your existing cabling and save a few dollars.
